Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser; we also use equivalent local storage. We keep them to a minimum. In the EU/EEA, nothing non-essential is set until you accept — we run Google Consent Mode v2 in default-deny mode until you choose.

Your choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your decision any time by clicking “Cookie preferences” in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not stop you reading the site or subscribing.

Always on — the site can’t work correctly without these. They set no advertising or cross-site tracking.

Advertising & attribution

Embedded video (loads only on click)
We use a click-to-load facade for YouTube: nothing from YouTube loads — and no YouTube cookies are set — until you click play. If you do, YouTube/Google may set their own cookies under Google’s privacy policy.
